How it works : Olmesartan medoxomil is one of a group of medicines called angiotensin II-receptor antagonists. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide is one of a group of medicines called thiazide diuretics (“water tablets”). It lowers blood pressure by helping the body to get rid of extra fluid by making your kidneys produce more urine.

Side Effects : Feeling dizzy, weak or tired , Headache , Chest pain , Swelling of ankles, feet, legs, hands or arms , Fluttering of the heart beat (palpitations) , Rash, eczema , Spinning sensation (vertigo) , Feeling drowsy or sleepy , Cough , Indigestion, abdominal pain, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting (being sick) or diarrhoea , Muscle cramps or muscular pain , Pain in joints, arms or legs, back pain , Difficulties getting or maintaining an erection , Blood in urine.
